Our Pride Guernsey represents a part of the Club's journey to greater inclusion and diversity. The guernsey has been developed in collaboratio with AFLW players and Pride Supporter Group.
The Geelong Cats will proudly wear the Pride Guernsey for our Round 2 Clash again the Brisbae Lions on Sunday 7 February.
Our AFLW players and Pride Supporter Group strongly advocated for teh addition of hte Trans Flag within the design, which is featured along the shoulders. Proudly, our Club was the first of AFL Clubs to write an open letter of support for Marriage Equality in 2013. This chapter of our story is represented with the rainbow 'YES' featured boldly on the back. Front and center of the design within our traditional hoops, is the rainbow pride flag. We are proud to promote inclusion and celebrate the immense contribution of the LGBTIQ community.
